The Jewish sect known as Lev Tahor, previously linked to alleged child abuse, came under scrutiny by elements of the National Civil Police and from the Ministry of Defense of Guatemala, where they raided the property and rescued about 160 minors.

The operation was carried out by 300 security elements on December 20 in the Guatemalan community of San Rosa, located 90 kilometers from Guatemala City.
The minors were placed at the disposal of the authorities along with 40 other women, while the Attorney General’s Office and the Guatemalan Prosecutor’s Office will carry out the corresponding investigations.

“The protection of children is an absolute priority,” added the prosecutor in his X account.
