The mayor of Iztapalapa, Aleida Alavez, pointed out that it is time to stop junk food and prioritize a healthy diet in order to avoid ailments like the obesity.

During the first edition of the Training Fair in the Quetzalcóatl Urban Development neighborhood, Iztapalapa, where workshops were given on the prevention of respiratory, multi-detection, nutrition, chronic degenerative, and mental diseases, the mayor pointed out that a healthy diet is a determining factor for a healthy life.

“We must declare a stop to junk food, we must model our eating habits, these days are held to raise awareness, since they are not only training but also certifying various actions to have better living conditions,” said Alavez.

The alcaldesa stressed how important it is healthy eating so that the population can avoid conditions such as obesity, diabetes and high blood pressure, among other diseases that put health at risk, and that often become fatal.

In this sense, the Morenista pointed out that her administration promotes various actions and public policies for the prevention of all types of diseases.

As part of these actions, Alavez He called on the inhabitants of Iztapalapa not to consume excessive alcoholic beverages, as he pointed out that this causes incidents and accidents between neighbors, as well as within families, which is why he emphasized the campaign for a Christmas free of alcohol consumption and violence, and the promotion of family unity, respect and tranquility in celebrations.

“The campaign seeks to encourage a change in behavior through positive and close messages, positioning the concept of the Mexican culture of punch but without picketing as a symbol of responsibility, joy and peaceful coexistence,” he said regarding the search for ahealthy eating.
