Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said in his message that today we are celebrating the 148th birth anniversary of the founder of Pakistan, Father of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and recalling his extraordinary vision, unwavering courage and unparalleled determination. Azam did what many people thought was impossible and thanks to his tireless work, our country Pakistan came into being.
The Prime Minister said that Quaid-i-Azam was a leader of rare talent who deeply believed in unity, justice and equality. Quaid-e-Azam’s journey of struggle is a testament to the power of belief and the realization of dreams through hard work and dedication. Quaid-e-Azam once said, “Failure is an unknown word to me.” Accordingly, he followed through on his commitment and succeeded in making the Muslims of the Indian sub-continent a nation, for them, the status of titles and accolades was secondary to the achievement of their ultimate goal.
Shahbaz Sharif further said in his message that Quaid-i-Azam dreamed of a Pakistan where every citizen regardless of religion or race could live with dignity, freedom and equal opportunities. His vision for Pakistan was inclusion, unity and prosperity. As we celebrate his birthday today, let us learn from the legacy of Quaid-e-Azam and reiterate our commitment to the values for which he fought. of development, prosperity and unity Work hard for it.
The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has also paid homage to the founder of Pakistan on his birthday and said that today we salute the father of the nation for his services to the nation. The trend changed, only thanks to his vision, determination and independence, the establishment of an independent homeland was possible for the Muslims of the subcontinent.
The President of the State said that the leadership of the Quaid-e-Azam in one of the most critical periods of our history is a proof of his exceptional abilities. He presented the case of Pakistan with great clarity and conviction, he emphasized the need for a separate homeland where Muslims can freely practice their religion and protect their culture and political and economic rights.
He has said that his historic address to the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan on August 11, 1947 is still a torch for us today. The rights will be protected and every citizen, regardless of religion, caste and race, will be equal before the state. We should strive tirelessly to follow it.
He said that although we have made significant progress in various fields, the journey to become a prosperous and justice-based nation is still ongoing. To achieve the vision of a democratic and self-sufficient Pakistan of Quaid-i-Azam, we need social justice, economic equality. And more needs to be done to uphold the values of rule of law, we have to invest in the education of our youth and equip them with knowledge and skills for Pakistan’s bright future, we need to empower the downtrodden sections of the society.
