He uploaded a video showing the perpetrator of the fraud trying to trick potential victims via video call.
Luckily, the potential victim, who is a civil servant, already knew that the video call was from a fraudster who used a filter that resembled Baim Wong’s face.
“The Prosecutor’s Office is ready, the police are there, it’s wrong to cheat, thank God,” said Baim Wong via his account on Instagram, Monday (23/12).
Paula Verhoeven’s husband then reminded the public to be careful regarding fraud cases that use his name.
According to Baim Wong, until now there are still many fraudsters who use his name as a giveaway mode.
Therefore, he asked the public not to easily believe quizzes in his name.
“Be careful, there are still many frauds using my name,” continued Baim Wong.
