It has been reported that psychiatry specialist Yang Jae-woong, the groom-to-be of group EXID member Hani, owns a building worth 10 billion won.

According to a Financial News report on the 24th, Jaewoong Yang purchased a building with 1 underground floor and 5 floors above ground in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul in July 2022 in the name of Brother World Co., Ltd., which he represents. It is known that the asking price at the time of purchase of the building was 10.5 billion won, but the actual transaction was made for 10 billion won.

In particular, the building in question is included in the Hannam District 3 redevelopment project and is expected to be demolished in the first half of next year. Accordingly, some thought that the building was purchased for reconstruction and investment purposes rather than for rental purposes.

Hannam District 3 is a redevelopment project site where the total project cost is expected to reach 8 trillion won. Hyundai Engineering & Construction will take charge of the construction, and it will be reborn as ‘DH Hannam’ with 5,990 households. Among them, Jaewoong Yang’s building is attracting attention as some say it is in the top 10 in terms of appraisal ranking among union members in District 3 of Hannam.

Meanwhile, Jaewoong Yang was scheduled to get married to Hani, with whom he has been in a public relationship since 2022, in September.

However, when it was revealed in May that a 36-year-old woman died 17 days after being admitted to a psychiatric hospital in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, where Yang Jae-woong is the director, the couple ended up postponing their wedding.

Accordingly, in July, Yang Jae-woong said through his agency Mystic Story, “This incident occurred at the hospital where I am currently the representative, and as the director of the hospital, I am taking this incident very seriously.” He added, “Due to the ongoing investigation, this hospital has released the medical chart.” “We are doing our best to cooperate with external organizations, including providing closed-circuit (CCTV) footage that contains the entire situation at the time,” he apologized.
