Rescue operations are in full swing in China after a plane carrying 132 people crashed in the Guangxi Mountains. Authorities said no one was likely alive.

Parts of a Boeing 737 China Eastern Airlines plane were said to have crashed in the mountains. Most are charred. Chinese media reported that some bodies had been found. Personal items such as identity cards and wallets were also found at the scene.

The plane was traveling from Kunming to Guangzhou when it crashed in Wuzhou province. A video has been released of the plane heading upside down from about 29,000 feet towards Earth. The plane crashed into a mountain and caught fire.

Experts commented that most of the accidents at such heights could be caused by the weather, the pilot’s fault or intentional sabotage.

It is said to be the worst passenger plane crash in China since 2010. The crash killed 44 of the 96 people on board.
