Government Council: adoption of a draft decree on the quality and health safety of marketed sauces
Rabat – The Government Council, meeting Thursday in Rabat, adopted draft decree n°2.24.394 relating to the quality and health safety of marketed sauces, presented by the Minister of Agriculture, maritime fisheries, of rural development and water and forests, Mohamed Sadiki.
This project takes place in the context of the rapid evolution and competition experienced by the market for these products, as well as the growth of their commercial exchanges, indicated the Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament, spokesperson for the government. , Mustapha Baitas, during a press briefing after the council.
To this end, he stressed that it is now necessary to put in place a specific legal framework which applies to both imported sauces and those produced locally, with the aim of guaranteeing their quality and quality. health safety, to inform the consumer and to preserve the credibility of the related commercial transactions.
Furthermore, Mr. Baitas announced that bill No. 54.23 amending and supplementing Law No. 65.00 relating to basic compulsory health insurance (AMO), and enacting special provisions, was postponed to a meeting of the Government Council in order to further its examination.
