Hill Farmers’ Association responds with a troll to the Kerala Forest Department’s campaign to reclaim our natural forests in the face of climate change. The Kerala Independence Farmers’ Association (KIFA) has posted a troll picture on its Facebook page against the Forest Department’s video calling for the restoration of natural forest in the wake of the change in our rains and climate. In response to the call to reclaim the natural forest, photos of children holding back the natural forest were posted on the organization’s Facebook page.

Here are the children’s pictures:

Actress Manju Warrier presented the video of the forest department. The video was posted on the Forest Department’s YouTube page on March 19, Forest Day.

Here is the Forest Department’s campaign video:

The video was also widely circulated on social media. The video begins by talking about the heavy rain on the opening day of the school. Manju starts the video by saying, “When we all go to school, the school opens after the summer to the rainy season.” Now the rainy and other seasons are over. This is because of climate change. This earth belongs not only to humans, but to all living things. We have a responsibility to save the earth and its creatures from the scourge of climate change. This disaster can only be prevented by reclaiming natural forests. The natural forest must be protected to save our future generations. The Forest Department released the campaign video at a time when efforts are being made by the world community and the United Nations to combat climate change around the world.

Shortly after the video was discussed, the Kerala Independence Farmers Association (KIFA) came out against it. In a post on Manjuwari’s Facebook page, the organization called on Manjuwari to respond to the video.

” You and the children at home can take part in this challenge. Half-hidden pictures of children participating in the challenge can be posted on KIFA’s official group, including the hashtags above. ” He then posted a photo of the recaptured paper on the organization’s official page, saying some children were reclaiming the natural forest.

In another post, “Manju, playing without storytelling should not be a false publicity stunt!”

” Should Manju reclaim the natural forest that has been lost since? Where is the natural forest that Manju wants to reclaim? The natural forest cover in Kerala has been 29% since 1980 and it is increasing. That is why we want to know where in Kerala the natural forest is being destroyed and who is destroying it, ”the organization said in a post.

However, a study conducted by the Indian Institute of Science in 2017 comparing remote sensing data from 1973 to 2016 showed that Kerala lost 9,06,440 hectares of forest land during this period. Some other studies have found that Kerala’s natural forests are largely extinct.

The organization has also made another allegation through its Facebook page. “Today, Manju stands as a tool of the Forest Department, challenging the survival of a diverse group of ordinary farmers in the hilly region who are being hunted together by wildlife, forest department and pseudo-environmental extremists,” the note said.
