Pyeongtaek City (Mayor Jeong Jang-seon) successfully held the 2024 Social Economy Performance Sharing Conference hosted by the “Pyeongtaek City Social Economy and Village Community Support Center” (Center Director Oh Gyeong-ah) in the conference room of Pyeongtaek City Hall on the 20th.
The event was attended by about 80 guests, including National Assembly member Hong Ki-won and Pyeongtaek City Council Chairman Kang Jeong-gu, as well as social economy entrepreneurs.
Prior to the full-scale event, awards were given to those who contributed to the revitalization of the social economy, and Park Dong-shin, CEO of the ‘Sharing World Samwoo Protection Workshop’, who made great contributions to developing sales channels for social enterprises and public institutions in Pyeongtaek City and returning social values, received the Gyeonggi Province Governor’s Award. .
This event was held under the theme of ‘We, for us’ and presentation of Pyeongtaek City’s top 10 social economy achievements in 2024 and presentation of best practices of social economy. The four categories of ‘society’ include Jang So-yoon, a student from Pyeongtaek Girls’ High School’s club ‘Cheongchuleoram’, Kim Yo-seop, CEO of Enter Co., Ltd., Yoo Jang-mi, CEO of R-Action Co., Ltd., and Agricultural Corporation. Lee Chung-won, CEO of Seodumul Brewing Co., Ltd., came out one after another and made presentations.
After the presentation, both presenters and attendees held the ‘Together Ceremony’, the highlight of the event, commemorating Pyeongtaek City’s social economy achievements in 2024 and pledging to achieve further development in 2025.
Pyeongtaek Digital Trade Support Center (hereinafter referred to as Pyeongtaek deXter) announced that it held the ‘Year-End Accounting Report and Corporate Networking Day’ to support export companies. This event was prepared to share Pyeongtaek deXter’s achievements throughout the year and seek opportunities for mutual cooperation through networking among small and medium-sized businesses.

At this event, about 150 people, including representatives of local companies in Pyeongtaek City, experts, and officials from related organizations, attended. At the corporate networking session following the briefing, the participating companies had the opportunity to freely share opinions and seek ways to cooperate, and participants had a fruitful time sharing business ideas with each other and discussing the possibility of collaboration. In addition, Pyeongtaek deXter provided information on various support programs needed by companies and laid the foundation for continuing cooperative relationships in the future.
