Apple has announced a limited edition AirTag with a snake engraving in honor of the upcoming year 2025 according to the Eastern calendar. This exclusive tracker will only be available in Japan. This was reported by 9to5Mac, Day.Az reports with reference to Gazeta.ru.
From January 2 to 5, as part of Apple’s New Year campaign, customers in Japan who purchase new iPhones, iPads, Macs and other devices will receive Apple gift cards worth up to ¥30,000 (about $190). The size of the bonus depends on the chosen model. For example, when purchasing a MacBook Air M2 or M3, the customer will receive a card for the maximum amount, and for purchasing Beats Solo Buds – for ¥6000. A full list of participating products and gift card sizes is available on the Apple Japan website.
The first 50,000 buyers of the new iPhone 14, iPhone 15 or iPhone SE will receive a free AirTag with exclusive engraving as part of the promotion. This exclusive AirTag will not be available for purchase separately. The promotion excludes some top models such as the iPhone 16 and MacBook Pro, as well as the recently launched iPad mini 7.
Apple AirTag is a smart tag introduced by Apple on April 20, 2021. Used as a mark for finding any object (tracking device).
