The royal speech, an “essential roadmap” to face the water problem (associative actor)

Tangier – The speech delivered by HM King Mohammed VI on the occasion of the Throne Day is an “essential road map” to resolve the water problem, said Houdaifa Mezzour, member of the Moroccan Association for a sustainable environment.

The Sovereign emphasized the need for a balanced spatial distribution of national water resources, through the establishment of mechanisms capable of meeting the growing needs for drinking and irrigation water, added Mr. Mezzour.

The High Royal Guidelines contained in the Speech from the Throne not only strengthen the foundations of sustainable development that Morocco seeks to implement, but also call for preserving the progress made in the economic, energy, agricultural, tourism and industrial fields, a- he noted.

For Mr. Mezzour, Morocco, under the far-sighted vision of HM King Mohammed VI, is determined to exploit clean energies in the implementation of pioneering seawater desalination projects, with a view to preserving the environment. and resolve the problem of water stress.
