Ukraine is now in the news for its invasion of Russia. Despite the disturbing news, a heroine is coming to Telugu cinema from a war-torn country. The Ukrainian actor will play the hero in the bilingual film ‘SK20’ starring superstar Sivakarthikeyan.
Twenty – five year old actress Maria Ryboshapka will play the lead role in the film. The cast of the film tweeted to welcome Maria. The film is directed by KV Anudeep.
Sivakarthikeyan plays a tourist guide who falls in love with a foreign girl. Sathyaraj will be seen in a pivotal role in the film along with Sivakarthikeyan. The film also stars Prengi Amaren and Prankster Rahul. The film is being produced by Sri Venkateshwaran Cinemas LLP. The film will be shot in Tamil and Telugu.
It is also the first Telugu film to be released by Sivakarthikeyan. ‘SK20’ arrives as a romantic comedy film.
In 2018, Maria made her acting debut in the movie Ether. The film was screened at the Rome International Film Festival. In 2021, she starred in Special Option 1.5: The Himmat Story.
