Beijing: A passenger on a Boeing plane that crashed in China is said to be dead, 48 hours after the crash.
The discovery of the remains of 132 people and the black box adds to the mystery.

How the plane crashed remains unknown. Authorities said at a news conference that the pilots had not received any response to repeated calls from Chinese air traffic control before the plane crashed.
The search was made difficult as the accident took place in a mountainous forest area and the aircraft was severely damaged. The search is being carried out by 2,000 rescue workers. Drones and the like are being used. Continued rains in the area have also adversely affected the search.
The plane was carrying 123 passengers and nine crew members, including three pilots. All are of Chinese descent. Chinese officials said not a single foreigner was on board.
The Eastern Airlines Boeing 737 crashed at 2.25pm above sea level at around 2.22pm on Monday.
