by time news

The Mahniuda group, led by chef Assaf Granit, won its first Michelin star in January last year at the Paris ‘Broken’ restaurant. Last night (Tuesday) the star award ceremony took place, which was canceled last year due to corona restrictions – but with an exciting twist. Granite and his partners did not put on suits to celebrate the gospel of 2021, but also to have received the coveted star in the new 2022 guide as well.

In a non-obvious way, “Broken” managed to maintain the achievement this year as well and brought great pride to Granit and his partner, Uri Navon, as well as to acting chef Dan Yosha. The Michelin-starred guide of 2022 wrote about the restaurant: “Assaf Granit maintains its trademarks: unstoppable atmosphere, raw enamel decorations in unique techniques, metallic pipes on the ceiling and dimmed lights.”
