The mayor of Tlalpan, Gaby Osorio He completed 100 days of government in the demarcation. Throughout these days, transformative programs and actions have been implemented to prioritize security, infrastructure, transparency, social development and sustainability.

In these 100 days they were implemented during the government of Gaby Osorio three specialized cabinets formed as follows.

  • Security Cabinet: leading the Nuestra Casa Segura strategy, focused on crime prevention and recovery of public spaces.
  • Mobility Cabinet: with significant progress in the Cablebús Tlalpan project,
    release of roads in the hospital area and agreements with Six Flags México to mitigate vehicular traffic in the area.
  • Water Cabinet: Solution to more than 669 water leaks, cleaning of 119 km of hydraulic network and distribution of 1,500 pipes of drinking water.

In addition to this, the Nuestra Casa Segura strategy was implemented in Tlalpan, which seeks to prevent crimes and build peace. One of the measures is the closure of chelerías and clandestine clubs.

Last season, the Safe Christmas operation was carried out, carried out in coordination with the National Guard, Sedena and SSC to protect families during the Christmas holidays, which included requisitioning of fireworks and inspection of gas installations in flea markets and businesses.

Regarding the Recovery of public spaces program, the rehabilitation of 90,000 m² was achieved in Morelos Park.

What other programs were implemented in Tlalpan?

The Community Health and Wellness Program

In this area, in the government of Gaby Osorio, an inter-institutional agreement was signed with 12 public and private organizations to strengthen primary care for patients, with 21 community days, which provided more than 3,950 preventive activities, such as vaccination and disease detection.

Likewise, the program included the Animal Welfare Fair with which 130 vaccines were administered, 125 sterilizations and 14 responsible adoptions.

Infrastructure and Public Services

Through the Nuestra Casa Se Transforma program, Tlalpan is moving towards a more sustainable urban development with 35,000 m² of roads repaired with the Bachetón program; and with more than 3,000 luminaires rehabilitated, 519 replaced and 350 new equipment in neighborhoods considered priority.

Aiming at the well-being of the Tlalpense communities, 31 clandestine dumpsites were also eliminated, collecting thousands of tons of garbage, thereby improving the environmental environment. To which is added the pruning of trees and weeds on streets and avenues.

Culture and Tourism: Rescuing Traditions

During this period, an extensive program consisting of cultural and tourist events has been developed, which in addition to providing entertainment, rescues the customs and identity of Tlalpan. Among these events we can mention the Night of Legends, a series of historical stories held in the Panteón 20 de Noviembre, attended by more than 3,000 attendees, and Los Demonios de La Llorona, which brought together 1,800 spectators in the Fuentes Brotantes Park.

The Ice Rink in San Miguel Topilejo was established as a point of convergence for the inhabitants of the area, being the first facility of this type in the towns of Tlalpan, benefiting 35,000 inhabitants and 120 local merchants.

Environment: Commitment to Sustainability

The signing of the Metropolitan Agreement Against Clandestine Logging with CDMX, Morelos and the State of Mexico marked a milestone in environmental protection. In addition, 3 hectares of conservation land were recovered at kilometer 72 of the Picacho Ajusco highway.

The three levels of government, the Federal one headed by President Claudia Sheinbaum, that of CDMX, by Clara Brugada, and that of Tlalpan have joined together.
