15,000 Russian soldiers killed: NATO-Dinamani

by time news

As Russia has been waging military action against Ukraine for the past one month, NATO says the war is likely to have killed between 7,000 and 15,000 Russian soldiers so far.

Earlier this month, Russia announced that only 498 soldiers had been killed. However, a Russian newspaper quoted the Russian Defense Ministry as saying on Monday that more than 10,000 Russian soldiers had been killed.

In this case, the Russian side is likely to have lost 15,000 soldiers, according to NATO. A senior NATO military official said on Wednesday that between 7,000 and 15,000 Russian soldiers had been killed in the fighting. This number is estimated based on information received from the Ukrainian authorities.
