The city of Chernihiv in Ukraine is surrounded by Russian forces. There is no water in this city. There is no electricity. Russian forces have bombed and destroyed the main bridge that helped civilians get out of here. This bridge also helped in reaching out to the people for humanitarian assistance. The bridge crosses the Tesna River and connects Chernivtsi with the capital, Kiev.

Regional Governor Vyacheslav Sass confirmed that the bridge had been leveled by Russian forces. This is a major setback for the people of Chernivtsi
