As part of the support program for people in precarious situations, the governor of the province of Azilal, Hassan Benkhayi, accompanied by the president of the commune of Demnate, as well as elected officials and civil and military personalities, carried out at the laying of the first stone for the construction and equipment of the Center for women in difficult situations in Demnate.

This project, which is part of the 3rd phase of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), aims to improve the living conditions of women in difficulty in addition to providing a suitable living environment and services. specific to women in precarious situations, while strengthening efforts for their social and professional integration.

This center, for which a budget of 1.8 million dirhams has been allocated, will be built over an area of ​​350 m².

Subsequently, the governor supervised the launch of work to expand the Center for People with Disabilities in Demnate.

Worth more than 468,000 DH, this structure aims to improve the reception and living conditions of people with disabilities, particularly those from Demnate and surrounding regions.

This center, which demonstrates the special attention paid by the INDH to this category of the population, will offer an environment adapted to the specific needs of these people, with a view to offering them care, rehabilitation and integration opportunities. .

In the same vein, the governor supervised the inauguration of Dar Talib de Demnate, a boarding school intended for students from remote areas.

This project, financed to the tune of 1.3 million dirhams by the INDH and with a capacity of 42 beds, aims to fight against school dropout by providing a framework conducive to the academic success of students from Demnate and elsewhere. .

It will allow learners in remote areas to continue their studies in better conditions, by offering them suitable accommodation and supervision.

These projects reflect the commitment of local authorities in the province to improve the living conditions of vulnerable populations, in accordance with the philosophy of the INDH, which promotes social inclusion, equal opportunities and sustainable development.
