The woman received the next call from a fraudster who pretended to be a police officer, saying that she needed money – 30,000 euros. At the same time, during the conversation, the man repeated “stay on the phone”, do not call anyone” and urged the woman to act quickly.

The woman returned the saved money – 10,000 euros to a man sent by the fraudster – a courier or money mule. Officials of the State Police have started criminal proceedings for the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
