The Korean Swimming Federation Election Steering Committee said, “In the 29th presidential election held from 10 am to 5 pm at the Muse Live Hall in the Olympic Park on the 9th, candidate number 1 Jeong Chang-hoon received 86 out of 140 votes, and candidate number 2 Choi Soon-mo He announced that he was elected after beating the candidate (54 votes).
In this election, 141 out of 187 voters participated in the vote, of which 140 votes were recognized as valid.
As a result, Chairman Chung, who began his term by being elected as the 28th Chairman in January 2021, succeeded in being reappointed.
Chairman Chung, who is also an executive committee member of the Asian Swimming Federation, expressed his thoughts, saying, “I will lead the way to further development over the next four years by providing more support.”
Chairman Chang-Hoon Jeong’s official term of office is four years from January 24, 2025, when the next general meeting of delegates is held.
