At the same time, in the last 11 months, Latvia exported goods worth 1.098 billion euros to Russia and Belarus, which is 9.2% or 111.745 million euros less than in the 11 months of 2023.

Including goods imported from Russia in the 11 months of 2024 to the value of 369.109 million euros, which is 32.8% or 180.56 million euros less than in the corresponding period of 2023, and from Belarus – worth 141.253 million euros, which is a decrease of 12.6% or 20.354 million euro.

On the other hand, in 11 months of last year, Latvia exported goods worth 961.464 million euros to Russia, which is 8.5% or 89.858 million euros less than in 11 months of 2023, while goods exported to Belarus were worth 136.46 million euros, which is a decrease of 13.8% or 21.887 million euros.

The data also show that in the 11 months of 2024, imports from Russia and Belarus accounted for a total of 2.6% (in the 11 months of 2023 – 3.3%) of Latvia’s total imports, while exports to Russia and Belarus accounted for a total of 6.4 % (6.9%) of the total export volume of Latvia.

It has already been announced that last year in 11 months Latvia exported goods worth a total of 17.158 billion euros, which is 2.1% or 367.8 million euros less than in the corresponding period of 2023, but imported – for 20.005 billion euros, which is a drop of 7 .1% or 1.521 billion euros.
