(Isa Tareen) 12 miners were trapped as a result of a gas explosion in the coal mine of Sanjadgi forty kilometers away from Quetta.
Chief Mines Officer Abdul Ghani Baloch says that an operation has been started to evacuate the miners. He said that due to the explosion, the coal mine has collapsed from inside. The incident happened an hour ago.
On the other hand, Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind said that a coal mine collapsed due to gas filling in Sanjadgi area, forty kilometers from Quetta. Rescue teams have reached the accident site.

Minister of Minerals and Finance Mir Shoaib Noshirwani directed the Chief Inspector of Mines Ghani Baloch to send two more teams to the affected place. Owner is not bigger than law and human lives.
Mir Shoaib Noshirwani said that the rescue operation should be accelerated to evacuate the workers from the affected mine, safety measures should be strictly implemented in the mines to protect the workers, he said that the government should take all possible measures for the rights and safety of the workers. He directed the Mines Department to provide modern facilities to prevent accidents.
