Casablanca: Future students discovering the Mohammed VI University of Sciences and Health

This two-day event offers, according to its organizers, the opportunity for future students to discover the programs of excellence offered by the UM6SS and its different components, as well as the numerous outlets and professional development possibilities offered.

On the program for these days, which are held in collaboration with the Mohammed VI International Center for Simulation in Science and Health, meetings with the University’s teaching teams as well as workshops, guided tours and practical sessions led by professionals and students from UM6SS.

In a statement to MAP, Professor Rachid Fares, dean of the Mohammed VI Faculty of Nursing and Health Professions, under the UM6SS, underlined that these Open Days, organized each year by the University, aim to inform future baccalaureate graduates of the training programs of the various institutes, faculties, schools and laboratories of the UM6SS.

It is also an opportunity for these young people, he noted, to learn about the courses offered, given that each year new training in the fields of science and health are integrated, and this in the objective of supporting the technological revolution that these fields are experiencing.

Kenza Sekkat, a 5th year student at the Mohammed VI Faculty of French-speaking medicine, emphasized, for her part, that she is participating in this event in order to introduce the UM6SS and its different components, branches and training to future students, the helping them make their choice and opt for the course corresponding to their training and ambitions.

The Open Days also allow, she continued, to share the different aspects and activities of student life at UM6SS contributing to the development of students and guaranteeing their training in a healthy environment.

Note that the program of visits for these Days includes the faculties and schools of the UM6SS, in particular the Mohammed VI Faculty of French-speaking and English-speaking medicine, the Mohammed VI Faculty of dentistry, the Mohammed VI Faculty of pharmacy, the Mohammed VI Faculty of nursing sciences and health professions, the Mohammed VI Higher School of Health Sciences Engineers, the Mohammed VI International School of Public Health and the Mohammed VI Higher Institute of Biosciences and biotechnology.

As part of these Open Days, visitors can also discover the university residences as well as the places and student living spaces.

Also on the menu for this event are practical workshops covering the fields of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing and health professions (Anatomy, first aid, dermocosmetology, physiotherapy, etc.).
