According to Rashid Langriyal, 670,000 people come under the income tax net, including many rich people, and there is a tax gap of 2 trillion rupees in Pakistan, and there are 4 million Pakistanis who have AC in their homes.

Rashid Langriyal said that even those who come into the tax net are not paying tax correctly, he said that there are many problems between tax payers and tax receivers, and the tax system is designed for only 5% people. has gone

He also said that those who talk about reforming the system do not pay taxes themselves, while this year the government plans to collect 13,500 billion rupees in tax, but there is a need for reform in tax rates in Pakistan. Generally, the tax system should be improved on the general public and the salaried class.

He gave the example of India where the sales tax is with the provinces while in Pakistan it is with the federal government.

Rashid Langriyal said that Pakistan’s education system has failed and the current education fails to reach the standards of France in 1960.

He also said that the government has tried to collect tax from those people who could have been taxed more, therefore the salaried class has also been included in the tax net and said that the government also knows that some sectors The tax rate should be lower.

Finally, he said that a new law will be introduced under which purchases will be made difficult for those who do not file tax returns, besides, the federation has decided to close 2 ministries and several departments.
