“Are you really doing this for the good of the country and its people?”
Singer Na Hoon-ah, who is about to retire, strongly criticized the political world by saying this at the ‘2024 Thank You – Last Concert’ held at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 10th. It is interpreted that during the last national tour performance that ended the singer’s career, he took a sharp jab at the ruling and opposition parties who were only fighting over ‘responsibility’ in a chaotic situation due to the impeachment situation.
On this day, Na Hoon-ah said, “I tried not to say anything when I was quitting, but I have no sense of direction these days,” and “Where is the right and where is the left.” “Where are the left and right sides of my arm?” He then shouted, “The left side is looking at the right and making a fuss, saying, ‘I did it wrong.’” and “Did you (left arm) do well?” The ruling and opposition parties are compared to the right arm and the left arm.
Na Hoon-ah mentioned his mother who scolded everyone when his brothers fought when he was young, and said, “My older brother and I, who had a small age difference, fought on the street, but my mother did not divide this world into two logics and said that brothers should not fight.” At the same time, he aimed at the political world and asked, “Are you really doing this for the good of the country and the people?”
Na Hoon-ah emphasized, “The Republic of Korea today is a country where it would not be surprising even if a bomb fell on our head,” and “Those in politics today should think about national defense and the economy on which we make a living.”
