jpnn.comJAKARTA – PDI-P General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri advised cadres who are not loyal and disciplined in realizing the party’s ideals to resign.
Because, said Megawati, resigning from PDIP is more honorable than a cadre being fired after not being in line with the party’s ideals.
Megawati’s statement was made in her speech at the PDIP 52nd anniversary celebration, on Friday (10/1).
“Now, for those of you who don’t like being here, you can resign, you know, so at least you have that honor, you know, instead of being fired,” said Megawati, Friday.
It is known that Megawati talked about stepping down as more honorable than being fired, just less than a month after PDIP announced the dismissal of former President Joko Widodo.
Apart from Jokowi, PDIP also announced the dismissal of the former Governor of Jakarta’s son and son-in-law, namely the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Gibran Rakabuming and the elected Governor of North Sumatra Bobby Nasution from PDIP.
Megawati admitted that she often talked about stepping down which was more honorable than being fired if she no longer shared the ideals of the PDIP.
“That’s why now every time I say that, yes, it’s okay, people are no longer happy, really, they’re told to hang out (at the PDIP, ed.),” continued the daughter of Indonesian Proclaimer Soekarno or Bung Karno.
PDI Perjuangan General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri suggested this to cadres who were not loyal and disciplined in realizing their ideals. What’s that?
