Armed subjects shot dead a man former alderman of the PRI in Tabasco.
The events were recorded on the afternoon of this Thursday January 9 in it Jardines del Country subdivision which is located in the municipality of Centerin the state of Tabasco.
After the attack, those responsible fled the scene, leaving the former councilor lifeless on the side of his vehicle that was left on a street in the subdivision.
The neighbors reported to the authorities so security elements and local and state emergency bodies arrived, but they only found the lifeless body of Mario Peralta Jimenez – former alderman of Institutional Revolution Party (PRI), in the administration of the former mayor Jesus Ali de la Torre-.

Jiménez also worked as a lemon businessman harvesting his family’s ranches and owned a café in the city of Villahermosa.

Assault, alleged motive for the murder of the former councilor of Tabasco
According to testimonies collected by the media XEVT Tabasco, Mario Peralta went to a bank to withdraw money, but when he left, two men on a motorcycle followed him until they intercepted him to allegedly steal the withdrawn cash.
However, something happened and those responsible shot the former PRI councilor who lost control of the vehicle, got on the sidewalk and the murderers took him out of the car to take the money from him and left him on the asphalt.
The personnel of the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Tabasco to lift the body and transfer it to their facilities to perform the legal autopsy.

At the moment the amount that the shooters stole is unknown, in addition to the fact that there are no arrests at the moment despite the fact that a security operation was mounted in the area to locate them.
Videos and images of the crime scene were spread through social networks in which the body of the former councilor of Tabasco and his white vehicle can be seen.
