Filming for the film is set to begin in July. The test shooting of the film took place a few days ago with a huge jallikattu set on the East Coast Road in Chennai. The photos taken at the time went viral on the social networking site.
The film is produced by producer Kalaipuli Thanu. It is said that Kalaipuli Thanu has now taken a drastic decision as it requires a bigger budget to produce this film.
It is said that Kalaipuli Thanu Vadivasal will co-produce the film with Zee Studios.
Prior to this, he was co-producing the strength film starring Ajith with Ponikapur Zee Studios. It is noteworthy that following this, Kalaipuli Thanu has adopted the same style.
