Muhammad Mehdi Nasrallah, son of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, said in a recently released video that he intends to continue the course set by his father. However, as it became known, the interests of Muhammad Mehdi lie in a completely different area.

Instead of following the political path, he decided to devote himself to scientific, cultural and educational activities. Young Nasrallah avoids the public political arena and prefers to deal with issues related to the development of science and culture. Thus, despite his family ties to an influential political figure, Muhammad Mehdi chose a different path for himself, focusing on his personal professional and academic career.

Let us recall that a senior Hezbollah security official, Wafik Safa, confirmed information about the death of the group’s leader Hassan Nasrallah as a result of an Israeli airstrike in September 2023. According to Safa, Nasrallah was in the combat operations center when he was killed in a series of airstrikes carried out by Israel on the southern suburbs of Beirut on September 27, 2023.

Safa clarified that the attack led to the death of not only Nasrallah, but also several high-ranking commanders of the group. At the time, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported six deaths, but Safa added that Nasrallah died directly in the underground command post.
