(Web Desk) Renowned Indian guitarist and bassist Chandramoli Biswas was found dead in his home.
According to Indian media, the body of 48-year-old Chandramoli was found on Sunday evening from his rented house in Valentin area of Kolkata. Mehul Chakraborty, the lead singer of the band “Goluk”, saw his body when he arrived at Chandramoli’s house and the police. Reported to
Mehul said that he had been calling Chandramoli since morning but he was not receiving his phone call, on which he got worried and reached his house along with a close friend where he found him dead. According to Mehul, Chandramouli’s death is a huge loss for the Bengali music industry.
According to the police, preliminary investigation revealed that Chandramoli was facing financial problems and was also suffering from depression for many years, his relatives and friends also confirmed his mental condition.

The suicide note found at the crime scene said that no one is responsible for his death, the writing of the note is being verified and the body has been sent for post-mortem.
Chandramoli was associated with the famous bands ‘Fossils’, ‘Gollock’, and ‘Zombie Cage Control’ and was very popular for his brilliant performances.
The death of the Indian singer has left the industry in mourning and the Indian music industry has described the death of Chandramoli as an incredible shock.
Fossils manager Rupsha Dasgupta said Chandramoli was a member of the band from 2000 to 2018 and later left due to health issues.
