In a ballroom in the Mea Shearim neighborhood, a wedding of an “Alters” couple – adult singles, which is delayed due to the sudden disappearance of the bride who did not come to the hall and is unable to contact her, was scheduled to begin tonight (Thursday).
Police were also called to the scene to try to figure out where the bride had disappeared to and whether it was a case where she needed help.
It is possible that the bride’s family, who according to various testimonies opposed the matchmaking, succeeded in convincing the bride to withdraw from the wedding at the last minute. Either way it is a traumatic event for the groom and his family who are now in the empty hall without knowing how to drive.
