The unit heads to the United States on the 23rd and quenches for a month.
Professional baseball’s LG Twins will be cooling off in the United States ahead of the 2025 season. Seven veterans, including Oh Ji-hwan, Park Dong-won, and Lim Chan-gyu, will first leave for Arizona, USA.
LG announced on the 14th that Lim Chan-gyu, Son Ju-young, Baek Seung-hyun, Jin Woo-young (pitchers), Oh Ji-hwan, Lee Young-bin, and Park Dong-won (fielders) will depart for the first Arizona camp through Incheon Airport on the afternoon of the 15th as starters for the first Arizona camp.
LG’s players and staff will leave for the United States on the 23rd, but some players plan to visit Arizona first to prepare.
LG, which departed on the 8th after holding a New Year’s greeting party at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul, will hold its first camp in Arizona for about 60 people, including coach Yeom Kyung-yeop, staff, and 42 players for a month.
The LG players, who return to Korea on the 23rd of next month, plan to hold the second camp in Okinawa, Japan on February 24th.
LG, which unfortunately failed to advance to the Korean Series last year (3rd place) after winning the combined championship in 2023, is aiming to win again this year.
Captain Park Hae-min expressed his determination, saying, “I hope we can achieve the goal of winning the 2025 season and have a congratulatory champagne party at Jamsil Stadium.”
