American billionaire Elon Musk, who will head the new Department of Government Effectiveness in the Trump administration, will work from an office in the White House located next to the office of the new President Donald Trump.
This was reported by The New York Times, citing sources familiar with the administration’s plans.
Musk, having headed the new department, will receive premises in the White House complex to work on a project that involves reducing government spending.
The new department is expected to be housed in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, immediately adjacent to the White House. This will give Musk, who runs companies with large government contracts, the opportunity to maintain close contact with Donald Trump.
At the same time, it is unclear whether Musk’s partner, Vivek Ramaswamy, will receive office space in the same building. Musk and Ramaswamy’s project, called DOGE (Department of Government Effectiveness), is not an official ministry, so the appointment of its leaders does not require the approval of the US Senate. Currently, employees of the new department work in SpaceX offices in Washington.

“Cursor” also reported that Trump complains to friends about Musk’s intrusiveness. Donald Trump in private conversations complains about the constant presence of Elon Musk next to him.
“Cursor” reported that Elon Musk confirmed the words of his father that teachers expressed concern about his behavior at school.
In addition, Cursor wrote that Musk called Trudeau a “girl” after his statement about Canada joining the United States.
