Hundreds of policemen, border fighters, volunteers and ushers under the command of Jerusalem District Commander Superintendent Doron Turgeman were deployed starting in the morning throughout the city of Jerusalem and preparing for the marathon. 11th International Jerusalem Winner.
At 06:45, Mayor Moshe Leon launched, The end of the half marathon from the clock junction (corner of Eliezer Kaplan and Ruppin streets) and at 07:00 Leon launched the end of the full marathon. Thousands of runners are running in these allotments.

Lantina Verska, a Ukrainian runner who won many awards, escaped the horrors of war and came to participate in the marathon. In addition, a delegation of about 40 immigrants and refugees from Ukraine who have arrived in Jerusalem in recent days will run at the end of the communities. The delegation will run as a sign of solidarity with their homeland Ukraine.

The police began blocking the traffic lanes and directing the driver public to alternative roads. Visible and covert forces were also deployed to secure the participants and spectators, maintain security and public order on the marathon tracks, while reducing the disruption to the routine of life in the city as much as possible. Traffic police will monitor proper and safe traffic conduct in and around the marathon areas, and will assist the driver public in exceptional cases.

In the coming hours during the marathon race, traffic disruptions are expected on the streets tangent to the race tracks. The opening of the axes will be done gradually according to the progress of the runners and no movement of vehicles will be allowed parallel to the running tracks.

It is strictly forbidden to fly skimmers / civilian aircraft during the marathon.
