The upcoming IPL 15th season is all set to kick off in India tomorrow. It is noteworthy that the BCCI plans to host the IPL in only a few major cities. It is being held in Mumbai and Pune in particular and a total of 10 teams will be fielding this season as two new teams have been added this year.
Those two teams are Lucknow and Gujarat. Both these teams are currently buying the best players.

1.MS Dhoni:
He has been the captain of the Chennai team from 2008 to 2021 and has played in a large number of matches. With a salary of at least Rs 12 crore, reports suggest that MS Dhoni has earned around Rs 164 crore through this IPL series, making him the number one highest-earning IPL player.
2. Rohit Sharma:
The one who continues to earn the most. Mumbai Indians captain and star player Rohit Sharma is the captain of the Indian team. He has been paid Rs 16 crore this year alone. To date, Rohit Sharma has earned about Rs 162 crore from the IPL.
Virat Kohli:
Virat Kohli, who has been the captain and star player of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team since 2008, has stepped down as captain but this year he has paid a salary of Rs 15 crore. He is one of the highest paid players in the IPL. He has earned a salary of Rs 17 crore for the last four years and has so far earned up to Rs 158 crore.
4. Suresh Raina:
Suresh Raina, popularly known as Chinna Thala in the Chennai team, played for Chennai and Gujarat from 2008 to 2021 and is said to have earned around Rs 110 crore through the IPL so far.
5. AB de Villiers:
Fifth-ranked AB de Villiers is a 360-year-old spinner who has played for various teams from home to 2008 but has been a key player for the Royal Challengers for the past few years, earning over Rs 100 crore through the IPL.
