A private school teacher in Thuraiyur, Trichy, and a student from Thuraiyur, an 11th class student in the same school, suddenly went missing on the 5th. In this regard, the parents of the student complained to the Thuraiyur police that their son was missing and that the teacher was suspicious of Sharmila.
An intensive investigation by the police revealed that the teacher was staying at her friend’s house in Sharmila, Edamalapatti Puthur, Trichy. Following this, the teacher Sharmila was arrested by the police and the student who was with her was rescued.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the teacher was hanging out with a student in Thiruvarur and later got married secretly at the Tanjore Big Temple. Following this, the police arrested the teacher Sharmila under the Pokcho Act and produced her in the Trichy Magistrate’s Court.
