Kirby isn’t the only one with a big release this week, Switch fans in the West can finally get their hands on them Rune Factory 5.

Now that the game has been here for a few days, we’ve collected a few reviews. If you haven’t checked out our Nintendo Life review of Rune Factory 5, be sure to take a look. We said you’ll find something to love about this game if you enjoy RPGs and Sims Farm, but yes, I did notice some performance issues – giving it 7/10 stars.

So what were the other reviews saying? IGN was unforgiving – 6/10 score:

“Ron Factory 5 is a forage that can be chewed in an entertaining way thanks to the soil fertilized by its ancestors, but trying to jump into the 3D world leaves it with a lot of frustrating technical problems.”

Digital Trends Everything was for the farmer’s life – gave it 3.5/5 stars, but wasn’t sure how far new immigrants would come to it:

Rune Factory 5 One must turn to seasoned fans or those who love games that intertwine several categories, including farming simulation, dating chips and JRPG. However, I can’t see that he has much of an affinity with the mainstream, because of the barriers he places on new immigrants.”

RPGamer said it was a very nice experience, giving the final score of 3.5/5 stars:

Runa Factory It’s always been a chilling experience with a few exhilarating RPG elements, and that’s exactly what the latest title offers.”

Mako Reactor gave the game a respectable 7.5/10 but felt it needed more time to reach its full potential:

“Rune Factory 5 is an ambitious entry in the series that does many things well, but suffers thanks to a slew of technical and structural issues. Although it builds on Rune Factory 4 in some nice ways, Rune Factory 4 Special remains one of the best games for a very long time, while Rune Factory 5 feels it needs more time to reach its full potential. “

And Digital Download Compare It To Comfort Food – Gives It 4/5 Stars:

“Rune Factory 5 plays things quite conservatively, which is best for him. It’s a relaxed dining experience, and while it may be tucked away on store shelves because it’s been released on the verge of so many cool, clever, innovative, and groovy RPGs, it’s a game of “pleasures” that are simple and fun experiences. Sometimes that is enough.”
