Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins dies while on tour

Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins has died while touring South America. He was 50 years old.

The cause of death was not disclosed. The Foo Fighters tweeted that the “Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely death” of Taylor Hawkins and asked that the musician’s family not be disturbed.

Foo Fighters was founded in 1994. Taylor Hawkins joined the group in 1997 and has been one of its most popular members.
