I never dreamed that Russia would have to earn such strong opposition when it waged war on Ukraine. To that extent, Ukrainian forces have been relentlessly recording strong opposition to Russian forces.
The UK Defense Ministry said in a statement that Ukrainian forces were trying to bring the lost cities back under their control. It said Ukrainian forces had recaptured lost cities and defenses in the eastern part of the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, and had succeeded in expelling them from areas occupied by Russian forces in the northwest. As a result, the offensive by Russian forces has intensified.
In the meantime, curfew has been declared again in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev. The 35-hour curfew will be in effect from 8pm local time on Saturday to 7am on Monday.
The mayor of Kiev said that only shelters set up to escape the bombing would allow people to leave their homes and that shops, pharmacies, petrol stations and public transport would not operate during the curfew.
