New Delhi | Fuel prices have risen again in the country. This is the fifth consecutive increase in fuel prices in the country. Petrol price was hiked by 55 paise per liter and diesel by 58 paise.

Fuel prices have not risen for the past four months following elections in five states. A week after the results were announced, there were reports that fuel prices would rise sharply, but a week later, oil companies started raising prices again. Fuel prices are expected to rise in the coming days.
