The “Abraham Agreements” will reach a new high today (Sunday), with the “Pisgat Hanegev” convention in Sde Boker, at a meeting that until about a year and a half ago was considered almost imaginary.

Foreign Minister Yair Lapid will host US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in the next two days, along with four foreign ministers of Arab policy: UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Ben-Zayed, Bahrain Foreign Minister Abd al-Latif al-Ziani , The Foreign Minister of Morocco, Nasser Burita, and the Foreign Minister of Egypt, Sameh Shekri.

Iran, Ukraine, Middle East

The foreign ministers will arrive in the afternoon at the Kedma Hotel in Sde Boker and begin the summit with a joint dinner. On Monday, the main meetings will take place and at the end, statements will be made to the media.

Among other things, discussions are expected on the nuclear agreement outlined between the powers and Iran, the effects of the fighting in Ukraine and other economic and security issues related to the countries of the Middle East.

It is possible that Foreign Minister Lapid will for the first time take the foreign ministers to the grave of David Ben-Gurion, a historic and unique act in itself – a visit by Arab foreign ministers for the first time to the mark of the state’s founder.
