Mumbai will be without Suryakumar Yadav, who is yet to recover from injury. The absence of Australia star opener David Warner, all-rounder Mitchell Marsh and South African bowler Andrich Norkia will be a setback for Delhi.
Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings are dreaming of their first title. Bangalore found the new captain in Faf Duplessis when Virat Kohli was reduced to bat.
