Following the success of the French Super Cup final held last summer at Bloomfield Stadium, the prestigious final will be held for the second year in a row in Tel Aviv, on 31.7.22. Last August, the French champion Lille defeated the Paris Saint-Germain trophy holder in front of 30,000 Israelis at the Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv-Yafo. The game is expected to be broadcast to millions of viewers in 140 countries around the world, with tickets for it selling between NIS 115 and NIS 605.
The game will take place as part of an initiative by philanthropist Sylvan Adams and the Comtec Group to bring to Israel international sports and cultural events that will promote Israel’s positive image in the world. The Museum of Tolerance in Jerusalem will serve as the official sponsor of the French Super Cup in order to promote tolerance and forbearance through sport.
The identity of the participating teams will be determined in the French Cup final between Nice and Nantes to be held on May 7, 2022 and the end of the French First League on May 21, 2022. Currently the Paris Saint-Germain constellation leads the French table with 15 points with ten games left. To end the season
