Chinese plane crash: Second black box discovered

Information box found from the crashed Chinese Eastern flight. Previously its voice recording box was recovered.

Experts are examining the two boxes found.

The MU5735 crashed in a mountainous area in Wuzhou province. From about 29,000 feet the plane flew upside down towards the earth at a speed of 1000 kilometers per hour. Chinese officials say 132 people on board were killed.

The second box was found about 40 meters from where the plane crashed. Experts say it will not be easy to retrieve information from both boxes as they have been severely damaged.

The search for other parts of the aircraft continues. Some important parts have been discovered in recent days.

A memorial service was held at the scene for Mondor in the crash. Those in the area observed a three-minute silent tribute.
