Cochin: The crime branch will question the eighth accused actor Dileep again tomorrow in connection with the actress attacked case. He has been asked to report to the Aluva Police Club at 10 am. Dileep has already been arrested in the case and will be questioned and released as part of the ongoing investigation. The Crime Branch found some of the court documents in Sai Shankar’s house. The Crime Branch has started an investigation into who sent the trial court document on Dileep’s phone.
Earlier, Sai had admitted that he had copied two of Dileep’s phones in the presence of his lawyers. The court documents were in one of these phones. These documents were sent from another WhatsApp number. Sai said the lawyer had told him that these were court documents that should never be released. Dileep was close at this point. The hacker also alleged that Dileep had unknowingly copied the phone records while deleting the information on the phone. The hacker did not answer the question of why this was.
During the search of Sai Shankar’s laptop, the probe team found some court documents. These are the documents including the testimony. The investigation team suspects that the hacker has more court documents in Dileep’s phone. However, they could not find them as he was absconding. It is believed that Dileep’s phone also received documents that the lawyers could not copy from the court. This will require a detailed investigation into who sent it. Dileep was not ready to hand over a phone that the Crime Branch had asked him to produce. It is also being investigated whether the court documents reached this phone.
