Israel Railways said that Israeli train crews continued during the night in the intensive work to repair the signaling fault caused yesterday (Sunday) due to a tractor hitting a communication canal in the Lod area.

During the morning hours, Yavneh East Streets, Rehovot, Beer Yaakov, Kfar Chabad, Lod, Lod Ganei Aviv, Ramla, Beit Shemesh, Mazkeret Batya, and Kiryat Malachi Yoav will remain closed.

An announcement of the resumption of traffic, expected for noon, will be published during the day.

The mishap that started yesterday caused heavy loads, as Sunday is considered the busiest day of the train mainly due to the soldiers returning to their bases.
