Thiruvananthapuram: An Indian embassy employee in Saudi Arabia has been arrested for allegedly harassing women by calling them on the phone. Pravanav Krishna, a native of Balaramapuram, Thembamoodu was arrested. He was arrested when he arrived at the Thiruvananthapuram airport from Saudi Arabia.
A case was registered against Pranav Krishna at the Thiruvananthapuram Rural Cyber Police Station. The case was registered on a complaint that the women were constantly harassed by phone calls. The police had been investigating him for about a year. A lookout notice was also issued.
Pranav Krishna, who was working at the Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia, was on leave today. Pranav Krishna, who landed in Thiruvananthapuram, was detained by the airport authorities on the basis of a lookout notice. He then informed the police. His arrest was later recorded by the police.
Pranav Krishna used to call and harass women through internet and foreign numbers. A woman from Neyyattinkara has been harassed in this manner for about a year and a half. They have now been arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by them.
