Thiruvananthapuram: Kovid-19 has been confirmed for 424 persons in the state today. The incidence of the disease was confirmed in 0 districts.

During the last 24 hours, 17,846 samples were tested. At present, 13,569 people are being monitored in different districts of the state. Of these, 13,259 are under home / institutional quarantine and 310 are under hospital surveillance. 55 people were newly admitted to the hospital.

No deaths have been confirmed in the last 24 hours due to Kovid-19. In addition, six deaths were reported in the previous days due to late receipt of documents and 16 deaths due to appeal by the Central Government under the new guidelines of the Supreme Court. This brings the total death toll in the state to 67,844.

Today, 28 of those diagnosed with the disease are from outside the state. 358 people were infected through contact. Contact source for 35 is not clear. Three health workers were affected by the disease.

528 people who were diagnosed and treated were cured. Thiruvananthapuram 79, Kollam 9, Pathanamthitta 29, Alappuzha 5, Kottayam 78, Idukki 48, Ernakulam 110, Thrissur 43, Palakkad 3, Malappuram 19, Kozhikode 62, Wayanad 8, Kannur 31 and Kasaragod 4 were cured. With this, 3555 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. 64,59,585 have so far been freed from Kovid.
