Muscat: Oman allows Taraweeh prayers in mosques across the country during Ramadan At the same time, those who do not receive the Kovid vaccine will not be allowed to enter the mosques for Taraweeh prayers. Children under the age of 12 will not be admitted.

The Supreme Committee of Oman has announced that the ban on community iftar in mosques, public places and tents will remain in place. The move comes after assessing the Kovid situation in the country. The Supreme Committee meeting also discussed the rise of Kovid cases in various countries. The Supreme Committee also extended Ramadan greetings to Ruler Sultan Haitam bin Tariq and to locals and foreigners alike.
