Following the delta impact in more than a hundred countries around the world, a new variant called Omicron is spreading. This has led to a third wave and a fourth wave in many countries.
In this context the incidence of corona in South Korea is currently increasing steadily. Last week there was a daily corona exposure of over 5 lakhs, after which the incidence was slightly lower.
In the last 24 hours, 3 lakh 47 thousand 374 new cases have been confirmed in South Korea. Following this the total corona impact of that country exceeded 1.23 crores. Accordingly, 1 crore 23 lakh 50 thousand 428 people have been confirmed infected there so far.
As many as 237 more people died of corona infection in the last 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 15,423.
